Kamal began his career in entertainment as a freelance shooter and editor, working primarily with up and coming musicians in Atlanta, GA. He got his start in comedy in 2009 as a producer/writer for a local improv group he helped found, the Snack Pack.

In 2017 he started and co-hosted a comedy podcast, MoreThanCultr, with stand-up comedians Reemo Rod, Tyler Chronicles, and Ronnie Jordan though he had never stepped on stage at that point. MoreThanCultr has since grown to close to 50K subscribers.

Finally he took the leap to get on stage in September 2019. It wasn't the best timing with covid and all, but he has since developed into a “real comedian”, doing feature work for headliners such as Joe Clair, Nard Holston, Ronnie Jordan, Darren Brand, Clayton English, Kev OnStage and others. He has been featured on KevOnStage’s “Keep Your Distance” Comedy Special and 85South’s “I Got 5 On It."
